Dr. David Evans and Tammy Evans were invited to participate in the “Powering the Possibilities” Program as part of the AMO University regional meeting in Irvine CA on Aug 9th.

Dr. Evans provided an hour presentation where he addressed a number of important issues related to Internet Marketing. He outlined key factors for website design and conversion, how Google ranks websites, how to avoid Google penalties and the three components of an effective reviews strategy.

Dr. Evans spent time describing the best practices for an effective reviews strategy and how to easily obtain positive reviews using a one-step text-option during the post op visit. He explained that the post op visit is the perfect time to capture reviews because that is when patients are most excited about their new vision and are experiencing that “WOW” factor.

He also shared a case report from one of Ceatus’ clients in Florida who recently implemented the Ceatus Reviews Manager in his practice. The results showed that within months the eye surgeon recognized a large jump in the number of online positive reviews, patient volume and importantly – practice revenue! At the end of his presentation, Dr. Evans answered a wide range of questions from the audience and provided an evaluation of various practice websites.
